Standard airbox Q's

Instead of buying an inducton kit would i find any gain in fitting a pipercross c.a.f to the standard air box, removing the acoustic valve and adding a ITG panel filter? Thanks.

i have the standard air box with the acoustic valve removed and a 75mm CAF going from the side of the OE box down to where the valve was. The new CAF is in place of the standard pipe that came with the OE box. Seems fine to me maybe not quite as responsive as my old viper but at least i dont have to worry about taking in hot air etc
