Standard Box fitted - Gotta quiery.

At the weekend I fitted my standard air box back in the car, along with my brand new ITG panel filter. The air filter the car had in it was a K 'n N cone filter (dunno exactly which one, as it was on when i got the car)

Is there anythin I need to do ECU wise since swapping the filters or does the ECU make changes itself????

Please excuse my non-mechanical mind!

Thanks for any help,
Martyn G :)

You shouldnt need to do anything, some encounter problems which are normally resolved by disconnecting the battery for an hour.

Yeah should be just plug 'n' play, mine was. Strangely mine had an open K&N on when I bought it and I replaced it with an airbox and ITG panel! ;)

The car sounded nice with the K&N on, but it's runnin a lot smoother and feels more responsive since ive replaced it.

Did you find this da?

Yes mate, less heat soak from the engine bay. Cold air is the way forward! :)

I recently took my K&N cone filter off and fitted an ITG too. I much prefer it. I have left the CAF disconnected too so I still get a nice roar!
