standard Clio CD player (from a 182 )

I need some help and advice.

I've recently taken the standard cd player out my car and plan to sell it however I'm not sure if its coded or not.

I've looked through the paperwork with the car however theres no mention of a code for the stereo.

The right side of the stereo has various codes and one with security code marked next to it but I'm not sure if this is it.

Does anyone know if renault did print the code for the stereo on the cd player at all or if they are all definately coded?

Yes they are all coded. Have you looked at the front page of your service book, thats where my code is.

yeah i checked throughout the books but couldnt see anything.

Will there be ANY resale value without the code?

Obv I will state in the ad that I havent got the code

User manuals for previous cars have always said that in the event of losing the code the original dealer who registered it will be able to tell you.

Alternatively I did come across a thread on here which had a link to a website where you put in your VIN and it returns you the radio code... this appeared to be freely available and not require a sign up etc.
