Standard exhaust cost

Had to call the AA out today as my standard exhaust snapped for my 182, was hanging from the down pipe. Ive been told that the cat hasnt been effected, it seemed to have snapped around the downpipe. Not 100% what I need to get tbh, as Im not really familiar with the clio, only had mine 4 days, lol. So im not sure how the exhaust is set up.

Any advice would be great, on the setup and on how much im looking at having to spend?

theres no downpipe just manifold>cat>centre section>back box

have a look under and see exactly where its snapped

Bugger, lol. In that case, it has snapped from the manifold to the cat. But I think its from the manifold side. So Im guessing it means a new manifold?

I'd be very suprised if your mani is damaged!

It's normally the joint either side of the cat... if the split is at the front.

When I split my Cat pipe renault quoted me £700~ for the part and £900 to include fitting (lol!!!!)

so i bought a sports cat from K-tec for about £300 and fitted it with the assistance of my dad!!

Yeah, OE cats are silly money
