Standard exhaust on (pics)

Car  S4 Avant
Well today i managed to get some more done to the car, and its starting to look a lot more standard:)

took 5 hours to swap round the exhaust, the bolts for the mounts had turned to rust.

Anyone ever tried using these as jacks?

Note to self, never try and start the car while it's jacked up, when its in gear:o

Looks much better now. Paul will have a fit when he sees those exhaust boxes though.

Novel way of jacking it up, lol.

Yeah... It didn't come with the tool kit, so i had to improvise. Looks a lot nicer now, but sounds shite:dapprove: ...like its got asthma

should i be expecting it to be much more restrictive than the aftermarket exhaust? and when i put my foot to the floor to rev it, it almost stutters as if its going to stall, I'm detecting lambda sensor issues?

Lol at Paul, looking better mate. I actually quite like the black and inferno combination, but guessing the bumper's getting a spray?

Oh what wheels are they? Wish i had some form of jacking up my car, i'm gonna have back cancer when i'm older.

3 of them are 17" team dynamic pro race 1.2's. wish they werent 17", they rub really badly, the other one is some other black team dynamic alloy, but doesn't match the others:dapprove:

looking good dave getting there :)

cheers mate, thats the exhaust you showed me off ebay:approve:

paul.... small question, i know you have an exhaust picture fettish, would it be possible to take some more detailed pictures of the joints between the cat and centre sections, and centre section and back boxes?

please?

haha, yeah I'm coming on sunday, I'll have to get under your car and have a look round, need to work out whats standard, and whats been bodged.

then knick parts accordingly

paul, we've never met, and i've never seen your car in the flesh.

But after the past few months on this forum, I feel know both of your tailpipes intimately.

why is this?

;)

I've heard that the pics Clarkson shows every week 'from the internet' are of pauls backboxs.

y r u doing this? u selling it or something?

insurance purposes, I can't get insurance on a modified 182

I like the look of those twin letterbox exhaust backbox.

hmmm yeah, it suited the car when it was all done, but its slowly starting to look how I'd like it to.

Paul, please, show me the ways of the clean exhausts

and on a side note, I got my new regestration plates this evening, much thanks to addz for making them. He also scared the s**t out of me in his mini... god it's quick
