standard exhaust question

ok so my centre sections gone, but im not planning on keeping the car that long so was going to stick a new standard one on it but the thing i was wondering is, would painting the welds (or full centre section if needed) with high temp paint help stop the rust going through the welds and spliting them? or does the problem lie elsewhere?

lol dnt be silly (dont really know to be honest lol) but id imagine the rust will already be inside and paint aint gonna stop it.

No - The exhausts rust inside outwards.

ahh right i thought they rusted from the outside in, looks like its yozza stealth then lol
