I've got a Renault clio 1.2 billabong, was wondering if the radio stalk on the steering works with the standard radios, as mine isn't working??

Yes it should work with OEM Renault radio, check the connections

I've tried looking for the stalk wire ,and all I can see is an autolead cable made for a Sony headunit. so in my mind the previous owner has removed the original wire and replaced it with this?

Try and pull all cabling out- original plug is prob buried deep in dash

Connects 2 kit instead of OEM cable?
