Standard remote key fobs.....

I'm thinking of getting another fob for my car as mine only came with one when I bought it......

If I get a second hand one (for about a tenner or so), can that be reprogrammed, and if so is it cheaper than buying one new and have that programmed?

Does anyone know how much the programming would cost??

Also, I would obviously need the new key cut......any ideas on price anyone?

They can't be reprogrammed, waste of money buying a used one.

Very expensive for a replacement from the dealers (£100+). Do a search there's prices in other threads.

Last time I checked they were circa £130 for a new key and take about a week to turn up.
