Standard top mounts...

After fitting coilovers to my 1.2 there is knocking when turning, I assume its the top mounts so need to replace them!

What exactly do I need to replace? And where can I order some from?? My searches on the internet turn up nothing

Did the coilies cost as much as the car? Are they fitted correctly? Are you sure there the ones designed for your motor? Shouldve kept the money n started saving for a sport mate, you'd never regret it

top mounts can be had from renault mate there not that expensive well like £45 if i remember rightly for my 172 top mounts. easy enough too fit took about 30mins. could be wheel alignment as well but i wouldnt bother getting that done until your coilovers have beded in a little bit

I'd go for either knackard top mounts, or top mount assembly put back wrong.

How could it be put together wrong? I put it back how the original suspension was i think, theres only a rubber rubber thing underneath and the top mount above? lol

It's so easy to be wrong... lol....

You've already missed the compression nut and spacer.... (which would cause it to knock like f**k) trust me, I know.

The bearing was so obvious I'd hope no one could miss it? LOL!

You know somewhere along the line someone has though. Although I'm fairly sure the actual silver damper pole would just go straight through the topmount without it and be above where the bonnet would shut?
