standard wheels = 185/55/15.. can i run 195/55/15?

as above

195s are so much cheaper!

can i buy 2 of those and run them on the front and leave 185s on the back or have i got to replace all 4?

also i assume 195s will fit fine on the same dynamiqe 15" rims?

cheers

edit: sucha tool, other tyres are 195/50/15 not 55..

cant run 2 different profiles can i?

wanted to ask the same question.
I have 185/60/15 on my car atm but am going to buy 195/50/15 as they're cheaper and should give a bit more grip. 99.9% sure they'll fit but not sure!

they'll fit fine

just want to know if i can run front wheels with diff tyres and also if the drives affected at all ?

  Dodgy one
It would throw the speedo out by a few mph

The 55 profile would make it read higher if your car has 50s as standard, The width will make no difference, If your rims are narrower than the tyres you will get a bit more roll

so i can run 195/50/15 on front and 185/55/15 on back?

does it affect drive like that at all?

Technically you alter the balance of grip because you have different widths front and rear.

With more grip on the front and less on the rear, you're more likely to oversteer...but that's only really a factor if you drive like a loon on the road.

I regularly run different profiles depending on what rubber I have available...but I've never run with different widths.

If I was you I'd put the 195s on the back and leave 185s on the front to keep it a bit more neutral.

if your selling your 185/55/15's and they're in good nick i may be interested buddy...

cheers as for the old tyres, i wouldnt sell them as they have uneven wear etc. due the clio being lowered and the passenger front has taken some sticks around the roundabouts here in daventry

cheers

i'll go for 4 195.50.15s then

how do you know if the rim is narrower than the tyre lol , the wheels are the 15" version of 172 exclusive alloys.. came as optional extras at dealers
