standered exhaust bore size

my mid section has cracked and is blowing like a trooper, I've just bought a decat and I'm looking to replace the center section with some pipe.

anyone know the diameter? is it 2.5?

i have had a straight through system for a couple of years now and i was never happy with it when i got it.
when the garage made it they used 2.25 inch tube instead of 2.5 inch. my decat is 2.5 inch. would there be much benafit if i got a new 2.5 inch pipe all the way?

Id personally put the money into a different area tbh the gains if any would be minimal and extra drone will be annoying lol. Get a whiteline or some lightweight 15" wheels both transform the car!
