i followed the instructions again and no surprise it didnt work but no my dash clock and head unit have no power!

Sounds like you're blowing fuses

Step away from the electrics

In a car that is already legendary for UCH issues - I really wouldn't feck about with the electrics just to install a fast&furious starter button lol

lol yeah do you know what fuse it would be? and im still 18 so i haven't grown out of all this yet haha

FLOL @ the honesty of it.

Just look and see which fuse is blown if its not obvious from the list on the fusebox cover.

Mikey, with your honesty, you're alright by my book now.

Any plans on your induction system? There's a brilliant solution on here if you search for "bucket mod" ;)

Ideally all you need to do is find the cranking feed wire off the back of the ignition barrel, split the wire, and wire it onto the relay supplied along with a live feed and earth... job done..... exactly the same as a cheap immobiliser but using the 'start switch' in place of a fob.

Haha replaced the fuse now it's all good! And I've chopped up my wheelie bin and strapped it to the Bonnet with a bit of Bent drain pipe going through the bonnet for my home made induction kit !;)

Wheelie bin is too big, it will capture so much extra air that it will blow the welds on your intake manifold, especially if you are granny shifting not double clutching like you should, then me and the mad scientist will have to replace your piston rings while eating tuna no one likes, ive got that adhd s**t.

haha such as? :)
Fixing something that is broken or worn out! There is always something that can be tweaked, replaced or upgraded. (I've had my 172 for about 3 years now and have spent probably £35k on it and literally hundreds of hours working on it and there are ALWAYS a few little (or big!) jobs that need doing.)
