Ive got this weird clicking noise that comes from (I assume) my starter motor it’s a really loud noise but the engine still starts normally. You hear the normal noise that comes from the starter motor but you get 3 or 4 loud clicks too.
But here’s the weird part, it never does it when you start it from cold, it only seems to be doing it if say you drive into town then 10 mins later come back to the car and start it then it'll possibly do it but not guaranteed. This makes it kind of hard to get a sound clip or something. Like I said though the engine still starts just as fast and normal when it makes this noise.
Anyone had this happen to them? Is it a sign of the starter motor ready to pack in or something? I just don’t want to end up stranded if it dies on me!
