Starter Motor

Hi all, Had a look but couldnt find a thread to answer my question.

Is the starter motor the same for both the 1.2 8v model and the 16v model?

My starter motor has basically broken and need one desperately as need to travel 150miles tomorrow.

Would anyone be able to tell me if they are the same.
