No idea, but i've noticed alot of the time mine takes an extra second to fire after filling up.

not noticed a noise but noticed the slightly longer start up and a bit more of a rev then usual when it does start

mine sometimes refuses to start at the petrol station, then suddenly fires up on the 2nd attempt. its done it a few times but for some reason seems to happen most at the petrol stations. i recon the TDC sensor needs cleaned ive just never had time.

I thought I was the only one this happens to but obviously not.
The car ALWAYS starts fine unless I've just filled up or I'm parked on a steep hill. If this is the case, it often sounds like it's struggling to start the first time, or it takes an extra crank or two of the starter motor before it fires up. I get around the problem now by blipping the throttle slightly.

Maybe fuel filter or pump? When you say you wait for the lights to go out, is this necessary I just turn the key and go?
