Stealth performance

I have managed to sell my motorcross bike so have got some spare cash and was thinking of improving the performance on my 172 mk2. Im not into the modding scene and dont want my car to look or sound modded. I have already fitted an after market panel filter.

Could any 1 answer these queries I have...

1/ If i fit a chip do i need an after market exhaust or will the standard be fine?

2/ Can i fit a cat back and keep the standard exhaust for noise reasons?

I fitted a cat back and asked for no noise increase but inevitably a performance exhaust increases the tone a bit.

Mine was by Powerflow. At first I thought it was too loud but I guess its not. I just wasnt used to it.

1 chiping doesnt need to have to have modifications at all if wished
2 a performance exhaust will have a differnt tone but doesnt have to be loud
