Steering "click" noise

Morning,

Sometimes when i turn the wheel a certain way, a clicking noise comes from the front just like it is catching on something. it only seems to happen when i am not moving or driving really slow.

any ideas?

Drive shaft?

Have you had the steering wheel off lately? When I took mine off and put it back on the wires for the airbag etc are on a 360 rotational wheel and just wasn't put back in the right spot so clicks on some turns, esp sharp ones. Sounds like two bits of plastic knocking anyway

not removed the wheel it has been on since i have had the car. yes it does just sound like two bits of plastic

i think i have narrowed it down to the power steering.
is there anyway i can get a closer look at it?

Are u sure nothing fell into the little gap?

little gap? it just sounds like a joint is abit loose or something like that

oh.. its just my bf s car made a click after something fell in there.

after much looking i have now properly narrowed it down to the passenger side by the wheel. i had the wheel off last night and had a look but i cant identify the cause
