its the new and improoved turbocharged powersteering punp what ever you do dont turn the boost up! you could steer with a match stick then!

maybe air in the system !! To bleed it turn ignition OFF and turn to each full lock 4 times or more !!

youll find it easier to do with the wheels off the gound aswell !!

its the noise of the fluid going through one channel on the the rack(left or right).when its not under load the fluid bypasses the channels and just circulates around the pipework.

get some wynns transmition stop leak thats what i think its called i put it in my power steering resivour and now only have minimal noise

you will always get a hissing noise when under load(similiar to the noise @ full lock).if its more of a whiney noise as well then your pump could be worn but valver pumps are quite noisy anyway.

Is this happening in the DCi or the Valver? DCi has electric power assistance not hydraulic doesnt it?

sounds like the valver because the electric pas in the clio 2 dci is virtually silent in operation.
