Steering rack ends

Has anyone here ever replaced one of the steering rack bars at the end? not the actual track rod end with the thread, the bit before that, Mine is slightly bent and i'm not sure whether I need the whole steering rack, I know where i could get one of the ends its just i'm not sure how easy it would be to change, I assume there is a joint under the gaitor? any help would be great, its an 07 clio 1.4.

the track rod yes quite common for the inner joint to be worn, they just unscrew once you move the gaitor

Ive just done mine today and I wouldn't say "just" unscrew, there a twert to crack loose, but you just remove the gator and undo the rod
