steering wheel juddering at mway speeds - thoughts please

  e60 M5 -172- dciheid
replaced the two front tyres today and now at 70 the steering wheel judders like crazy!!

not entirely sure what the hells up.

im suspecting the suspension bushes might be it?
im running coileys which are setup and were fine before the tyres were changed today.

totally pee'd off as theres meant to be a meet tomorrow and its early on so cant even get it fixed before going if it involves the tyre balancing.

any thoughts??

hmm

just really pee'd off with that as now i cant go on the drive as it rattles like crazy.

GRRRRRRRR

  In between cars....
take it back to where you had them done, does sound like they havent been balanced right rather than tracking

Have you checked the wheels studs are tight? It's also possible that something is caught between the hub facing and wheel preventing the wheel from sitting flush.

How many miles has your 172 done?

I had the same thing happen to my Mk2 172, at 70 the car would judder, and not feel that safe, i thought it was just the balancing/tracking, but it turned out that both front driveshafts were shot.

My car done eactly the same, still like it - had the balancing and tracking check at 3 garages (one in Scotland)

Everything is set up right, but I still have to fight with the wheel most times at 70+
