Steering wheel problem

I have to pull the wheel slightly to the right to go in a straight line on my ickle RXE and i refuse to accept its going to be anything expensive because it's not allowed to be. The cheapest option i can think of is that there has been some work on the steering wheel and it was not replaced properly on the splines, is the wheel easy to remove without risking death by airbag, or should i get a haynes at the very least?

No it does it everywhere, dual carriageways, on the drive etc, it's not just a small amount either.

Yeah, this is what i had assumed it most likely was, its a fairly old car as well - i'm assuming this could end up being expensive if it is this?

usually costs around £20 for 4 wheel laser alignment... so not too bad.
