Steering Wheel Size.......

  Skoda Fabia vRS

im gonna get a Sparco wheel for my Clio, but which size wheel should i get

330mm or 350mm ?......anyone know what the standard size diameter is ?

Malice, could you send me that pic again of yours?.....and whether or not its the flash 5 or flash 3

no way!

350, its still small, 330 looks retarded....like a bread plate ofor s steernig wheel. The larger diameter also makes life easer.....movements arent so twitchy....

well i think im gonna go for the Sparco Mugello, which in my DT catalogue is listed as a 330mm diameter.....hmmm

dood....its just so small!! i had a 350 and even then the steering wheel lock wouldnt stay on......

it also looks so gay.....:p

I have a 320mm Suede Mountney wheel! Its crazyly small and does tend to make my car a complete arse to park in small spaces as its unbelievably twitchy. Also 15s and Lack of powersteering make life harder.

is it really that bad ?

i really want the Mugello but if its gonna be that bad then ill go for the flash 5

small wheels in rd cars are a waste of time........

350 is already much smaller than your std one.....

Another problem Ive found from past experience is if you fit smaller steering wheels it obscures your instrument dials. If you can adjust the steering position higher to see the dials then fine but it will then be in the wrong position for driving ....if that makes sense! Also as already mentioned makes the steering very twitchy and tiring on longer journeys. Agree with BenR on this one ....fine for track day use.
