mine has split on the thumb grips, bought new one, how much does it cost roughly to fit new ?

about 15 mins + price of tools needed to do it yourself

what tools do you need? is it a easy job to do.

flat head screw driver and torx 45 bit iirc oh and the sockets and spanners to d/c the battery
