Stereo Code

I fitted the original stereo back into my 16v last night but I havent got the code. Any ideas on how to find it. Its the single slot cd upgrade from a 96 16v.

its not written anywhere in say, the front page of your car/stereo manual is it? mine is!! or, in the case of my mate, written on a label on top of the unit!

not sure about the mk1 buthave a look on the inside front cover of your service manual

i rung up the renault dealer for mine, they got logs of all of them.

Then after i found it somewhere on one of the back covers of the manuals.

You can get someone to come out to you and they will find the code for you, cant remember the name of the company off hand.

dealers tried to charge me for mine in my Citroen - but guess wot - I wasnt having any of it !!!

Got the code from the dealer I bought it off, just need to work out how to input the damn thing hehe
