Just a quickie really-

Basically every day I have to re input the code for the stereo-

I am GUESSING referring back to my old days of tweeters amps et 'al that perhaps this has been taken out at some point & put back not on a permanent live so maybe its losing its memory??

In my 182's the stereo usually goes on with the car in the morning, But on this one its not coming on with the ignition I have to turn it on- then input code-


Help??- does the permenent live seem plausable??

is it the standard cd player or after market ?

I had this in my corsa and it was an after market one. The two main power wire was the wrong way around. One is permant and one is to ignition.

As already mentioned it is almost certainly a switched live issue.

(Usually) red and yellow wires need to be swapped.
