Stereo Power feed

Hi,

Am swapping H/U with my mate as hes selling his car. Got my H/U into his car no probs but his Sony will not light up when in mine, just get a beep when trying to release the facia. I think somehow I may have lost my constant feed, have checked the fuse which is fine. How easy is it to rewire a constant feed from the fuse box ? Or any other ideas why the head unit isnt powering ?

on my alpine which requires a decent thick gauge power feed i used a feed from the batt (through grommet that speedo cable goes thru) and a fuse holder straight to back of the H/U

I would have said best to use a fuse holder under the bonnet aswel if your running a feed from the battery
