Stickers.

While in Edinburgh getting the WR1 mapped, I noticed a couple of Clio's with stickers plastered over them. One a white Mk1 with tribal graphics up the doors and on the rear window. This, and the fact it looked like it was on stilts, made me want to drag the person out of the car and physically push their face up against the car to show them what they had done.

Question : Do you have graphics or stickers on your car?

If yes, then :

a) Why?
b) What are they? Subtle? Over the top?
c) Do you think they look awesome? Or sh*t but you cant be bothered removing them?
d) No more nails.
e) Post pics to demonstrate how good it looks.

All these cheapo decals that people stick on are really are not to my taste. Especially the "tribal" graphics! I cannot understand why people would think swirls and twists would look good plastered on their door....

Rally graphics and the "elf" decals on wing mirrors etc i have seen on here are more understandable. They have more of a point.

Currently i am stickerless, however, soon to have a small cliosport.net on show.

Yeah, to narrow it down a tad, I do mean the tribal stickers. Or Tattoo styleee. Fast and Furious are in the same catagory, but it does depend on the car and spec.

I agree with that. There is a big difference between a decal slapped on a clio with no other mods than a highly tuned and modified supra.

I put those stripes on coz I saw a clio with the same stripes on, and i thought it looked awesome.

Surely you could have just smeared dog sh*t all over the car in a stripey way and be done with it.

If you think it looks nice, then fair enough. However, the fact you said you like to stand out for the wrong reasons says to me you arent 100% happy with how the car looks? Have you copied that look from the other Clio which you said about in every detail? Like the stripes stopping at the sunroof and are they the same colours etc as the other car?

I stopped at the sunroof, coz i couldn't be arsed with it in the end. But still liked the look of it then, but now when i think back to it, i do think, why did it do that.

reason - because they were on the car anyway (along with "michelin" and "elf" ones), thought it looked different to other 197's and that it wenrt well with the wheels.
