over the last week or so, Ive noticed in the mornings when i reverse out of the drive, theres a loud bang from the back of the car, it feels as if the rear brakes/handbrake has seized and is unlocking under movement... any comments welcomed!!!!

Mine did too. Just another plus or renault owner enjoyment I guess. Aleast you have enough power to release it !

all cars with rear discs do it

its just where the pads stick to the disk on a night the bang is them freeing up

My 306 GTi-6 used to do this November to Febish, a couple of pumps of the brakes with the handbrake off and the engine running before reversing used to free them up most of the time. Didnt sound nice at all when they did do it though
