STOLEN!!!!!! AUDI A6 + ASTRA SXI

  182 Whipppp
I know this isn't clio related, but 2 cars were stolen off my dads drive last night in Oswestry, white Astra sxi 3 door (2014), had private plates on it but they were found stuffed down a drain. And a 62 plate A6 3.0 Quattro in a sort of anthracite/ grey, I know this is a long shot but they were spotted in the Walsall area, and by cameras on the M54 in the early hours. Thanks

To my surprise, they have both been found! They ripped the plates off the astra, and put on a pair from an identical car. Astra failed to stop for police and was chased, and they legged it. Damage to the rear quarter panel. Audi was found locked and parked up. Both have been recovered.

Scummy thieving t***s is all I can think of.

Yeah in through the back door, I don't think they intended to pinch the A6, as they only had copy plates for the Astra, they must of thought they hit the jackpot with the Audi! Security lights and cameras are now up.

Sister is pissed off but don't think her insurance will pay our being so it's recovered and having the bodywork repaired. It was the £4K's worth of golf clubs in my dads boot that was the biggest concern when he knew the car was found! Haha

That's lucky. The Audi will most likely have been parked near them or someone they know to wait and see if there was a tracker on it. If no one turned up then they'd have moved it

That's exactly what they did!
The car that dropped the thieves off was a stolen A5 from Cannock on Sunday, they caught him the other day and was in court on Friday morning [emoji106] most people are quick to slag the police off but this time they were on the ball!!!!

Well they caught the driver of one stolen car, just the other 2 to catch now!
And my sisters insurance won't give her a courtesy car or Starr repairing her car until they have have seen the report from the police to make sure it's a valid theft, what the actual f**k?!

That's just what happens matey. You'd be surprised at how many fraudulent claims you get coming up to Christmas when people are short of cash. If it's all good and well it should only take a few days to confirm.

We used to offer cars back to the owners or often would sell them on and offer a new car. That was because even if it was repairable you never knew whether the thief had bounce the car off the limiter for 20 minutes so repairing is often a bag of worms for the insurance company.

There's only so much you can thrash a 3.0, 7 speed car, it's limited to 155 so even if they drove most of the way doing 155 it wouldn't necessarily harm it, but still!
Sisters Astra is ready to pick up tomorrow and the keys and locks for the fathers Audi have just arrived from Germany [emoji106]
