Stone Chips!!!

Hi,

Im getting really annoyed by the amount of Stone chips all over the bonnet of my Mk2 172 (Black), it seems to attract them like a magnet. Has anyone used any of the "Stone Chip" repair people?? Are they any good??? I really dont want to go to the expense of having the entire bonnet resprayed (out of curiosity does anyone have an idea what a bonnet respray would cost?)

You could always give one of those Car Bras a go, you know those funny leather knickers for the bonnet. Doesnt solve the chips, but i should stop anymore

well im currently having a 16v bonnet sprayed up for my 1.4 and thats costing me £175, but that includes having the front bumper blown over aswell and a grille painting

check out halfords touch up sets. they have pearly black for renault and you get primer, paint and laquer that u apply in stages. not perfect but it only cost a tenner and does a reasonable job
