STOP and battery light staying on

I'm using a mk1 alternator on my 172. The alternator is working fine and been told the battery it fine.

does it happen when you start the car? or come on after a while?

na as soon as I turn the car on. doesn't matter if I rev the car, turn light on anything they won't dim or flicker.

With battery being completely dead I can jump start leave it running for a while turn it off and it will start a couple of days later so I no it's charging and holding charging.

Any help would be great

But the light is on all the time even when you rev?
Maybe the alternator isn't supplying enough volts or amps so the ECU thinks it ain't working?
Or a bad earth

I'm not sure tbh. i no some people ruining the same set up and have no problems. The volts stays the same at 14.2 does anyone no if there is a min amount of amps you can use?
