Stop and handbrake light

As above the two lights flicker on and off mostly when I first start the car and set off...

Yesterday it came on solid until I drove off and then flickered every time I pressed the brake.

Any ideas?

Would I be right in thinking its just low brake pads on the front as the rear discs and pads were changed last month...

Check your brake fluid level

Don't just top the fluid up. As you say, it's probably worn pads. If so, change them before considering adding fluid. It doesn't just disappear. Worn pads is 99% the cause.

^Yes so many people just top up the fluid and then there pads are on the metal next.
