Stop error (BLUE SCREEN)

I wanted to change the boot skin on my car pc.
So 1st i tried it on my room pc and it worked fine, no errors. :)
Did EXACTLY the same on my car pc, now i get a Blue screen ( stop error message) just after the boot skin comes up.
I Know stop errors are normanly ram related but i dont see how it can be :)

Many thank's :)

Mother board is M10000,512 Ram,1.6Ghz

Best bet is to set it not to restart when you get the BSOD and you can then look up the error code on the net for a resolve.

How can windows of crashed? windows isnt loaded untill after the boot screen ;)

And the error screen is "Stop Error Messages. Stop 0x0000000A or IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL" Nothing i have found on the internet helps me

I think you will find that you have more than one device on the same IRQ thus it is conflicting, take off USB and other things that are connected to the computer and see if it works then.

Nope still dont work :'(

Yep windows xp pro, when i boot as 'Last configuration that worked' option it works so its some thing to do with the boot screen.
I think!.

when you get the "windows will now shut down is -50seconds" or whatever when sometimes you've had a windows error if you do this;

Start/Run and type -r 10

if i remember rightly and it will close the box down so you can go about your business and fix the problem. might be irrelvant here..

How sure are you mate.?
im 100% sure i have had this error when running nix before:p

You've never seen a blue error messages screen on any Unix type OS before :p

You may have seen a kernel panic.. which is the same kinda thing, but it wouldn't have been blue :p
