Stop light and battery lights flickering on and off

Im reckoning its a loose connection but has anyone else had the STOP light and Battery light flickering on off occasionally? The altenator isnt that old (10 months) so im sort of ruling it out. Possibly the battery or connections?

perhaps the belt is slipping.

Its fixed itself somehow, its got a habit of keeping me on my toes!!
