STOP 'low battery'

Hi all. Our 1.4 clio is randomly coming up with the message above. I've already replaced the alternator and battery. What else could cause the error. It seems to go into a semi limp mode when it happens and cycling the ignition resets it. There are no stored faults in the ECU?

Cheers James, I'll take a look tomorrow. Odd thing is the battery does appear to be charging normally. Will a momentary fault cause the error notification to trigger?

Yeah, sometimes get the stop and battery light flicker if it's a dodgey connection.

Check all the earth points are clean & tight.

I've cleaned off the earth points and the voltage showing at the alternator and also at the battery has gone up from 13.2 to 14.3volts so we may be on the right track. The gearbox one was a bit snotty but the rest seemed ok

I dunno if it's normal but the ECU is reading 13.3volts at idle
