Stop + oil light

Been on (intermittently) whilst driving for a few months now and still not got any closer to knowing what it is.

Is it likely to be a faulty sensor? or just electrics? anyone with any experience with this it would be nice to get some advice

Likely to be a faulty oil pressure sensor or the connector on the sensor needs a clean.

How do I go about cleaning the sensor? as i'd rather try that first before replacing it, knowing my luck.

You didn't say wether or not you'd checked the oil level first. Def sensor if not actual oil level.
