Strange noise

After Id parked the car in the garage this evening after my usual drive home from work, it made all its usual cooling down noises, with the addition of a new one. There was a popping noise. I got down on my hands and knees to see where it was coming from, but it had pretty much stopped. I think it was from the right rear, near the backbox?

Anyone else had this?

your exhaust cooling down, if you thrash it often youd hear it more

Ive never heard it actually pop before, and its always been thrashed when I get home from work. It sounded like water dropping onto something hot, but didnt appear to be.

Just wondered, Ill see if it does it again tomorrow.

While Im on, when I have the drivers side window down Im getting a knocking in the door. Its not the window though, as I held that to see if it was moving!!

Ill stop there for now. Just hope it holds together until its 12k service.
