Strange squeek

I own a 197 and have noticed a strange low tone squeek, from the passenger front, its worse when the car is hot but is allways present. I was told by a garage its due to a rubber on the suspension expanding and to try wd40, this fixed it temporarily, has anyone else had this and how did you resolve it?
