Streaming to PS3 from Netgear ReadyNAS

Hey Guys,

My PS3 has built in DLNA server but it is struggling to read half of my files. Without purchasing a Plex pass to stream from my NAS could anyone suggest a free way of streaming HD movies from my NAS to the PS3?

could you install ps3 media server on a pc on the network?

depending on your ready nas version there is a plax app for it

i know mine was too old as its one of the first, but the app/add on allows the transcoding the ps3 needs i believe
