Stripping a ph-quick

With no spare wheel or tool kit/jack ph1 =1035kg took mine on the weigh bridge last week accurate upto 20kg's apperently so mite be 1015kg ?

Hi just had my ph 1 suspention setup at a motorsport place and they weighed it at 1013Kg. Thats with no rear seats or spare wheel

i recently sold my seats and weighed them individually on the home scales for postage reasons,

the front 2 seats, rear bench, rear upright and all headrests roughly = 70kgs,

all the belts have also gone and i will be loosing the spare wheel, jack etc and obviously the isofix bar is already gone, i now need to relower the coilovers as the car has raised at the rear dude to the stripping

I think the 1059kg's is the FF weight, im sure the ph1 is 1035 with no spare and maybe dry???

When i stripped mine, the heaviest thing in the entire car (apart from the front seats) was the carpet and soundproofing. Weighs an absolute ton.

Dont forget all the tar patches as well. One member on here weighed in all the tar at nearly 20kg's!

so qwuite a good weight loss- im tempted me thinks

so do you reckon go for buckets or keep the front standard seats?

go for buckets mate especially if your going to track it, itl stop you sliding all over the shop and findinf a gear knob where you don't want it.

Its not that bad noise wise if you strip it for a road car. just get some carpet tooo lay out drowns the noise abit, fill in all the holes fro the screws etc!! and your away! Dosent add any weight thats noitcable

How many trackdays you planning on doing a year?

Gotta think if you do ten trackdays, thats ten days of a stripped car, for 355 days of a car thats a pain in the ass with no boot/ passengers etc.

Whereas you can still have loads of fun on track with the interior in...
