thats great guys was trying to get it with a torque bit on a screwdriver. it was coming then went stiff .thought it maybe had a backin nut on the underside. ill need to get a socket set into it. thanks
its a b*****d to get out, most people jam something in it once the torx bit is broken on the bolt, think i sawed mine out the got mole grips on it in the end
yeah i had this problem, my bolts for the isofix bar didn't have the torx bit in the head either. i could only get the bolt so far out and then just cut the head off it. still got the rest of the bolt stuck in th hole now!
That centre bolt is exposed on the underside of the car I think so most of them have a whole load of crap clogging up the thread on the bottom. Makes it a b**ch to remove in some cases. As said, just get a set of mole grips on there if it isn't moving
I had the same problem with the one that has to come out fully. I ended up flushing the torx bit on the top. Ended up using a lot of WD-40 and mole grips.
