Struggling To get battery back in holder ph1

As title says can get it in one side just can't get it to fully sit in any tips? Certain ways it goes in

I say that, but this is exactly the things that catch me out lol

I had to prise it out but tbh I thought surely that's not how it comes out/goes in maybe it is then

Theres a bracket to the right of the battery you need to loosen, dont take it fully out, then put the right lip of the battery under it before lowering it all into place completely.

Made the mistake myself of removing it completely and its a right pain to get it to go back into place when you put the new battery in there.

Think I'm just gonna have to prise it back in as I've got a ktr induction kit so there's no room to get in at all

You should have undone the bracket that secures it to get it out.

If you are trying to get it back in now are you trying to force it on/over the bracket maybe.

Obviously I've took the bracket off that goes over the top it's sitting it back in the tray I'm struggling with

a lot of batteries come with an extra strip of plastic along the lower lip to make them fit odd fitments. This needs removing on clios, if it's still in place the battery will never sit under the lip.

Also, you may have the incorrect battery for the car, you should have an 063, a lot of clios have 065's which are about an inch bigger

no cutting!!! it's a clip on piece you're looking for

Sorted it undid the clamp as such on the right placed battery in position and fit clamp back in

Yes that's exactly the bracket I meant lol it can be a nightmare to a new user.

More and more batteries on modern cars are secured by the base.
