quick question, if i were to buy an omp or sparco brace that were red and then use nitromors to get rid of the crappy red paint would it work? and what would be underneath? shiny ali or what? also how easy would it be to get rid of the paint of all the little bits?

Think they are powder coated not painted, you can get them powder coated again for about £30

Haha... thats why u wanted to see if u took the paint off whether it'll be chrome underneath! lol.. surely it'll be more expensive then..

well i was gonna sand it so it looked brushed, but i do like the chrome ones, i know someone who has one for sale but dont know if i can justify the price for something that is just cosmetic when the bonnet is open.

I'm really surprised they don't do an alloy one for the Clio, would sell well IMO.
