strut top mounts?

clicking/clunk noice when i come to stop when braking. also noticed it occassionally when i steer when stopped.

what is it?

engine mount? top mount? anything more sinister?

Yeah more that likely there shot, they will clunk if there left for a while aswell.

could it be anything else. does it when set off if burn off from standstill. and heavy braking. and weird grinding when steerin on the spot.

strut top mounts tend to be noisier when turning , try a full lock turn and you'll hear it clunking if it is a strut top mount problem .
