Stuck on Mirror Covers

Hi Guys, the Pug i bought the other day has some horrific chrome mirror covers stuck on, was looking at removing them but they are on there pretty solid and obv i dont want to damage my mirrors. Anyone know of an easy way to get them off?

thinners? petrol? just make sure you cover the paint work first!

Is it a 206 and are the chrome covers on the top of the mirror???

Yeah its a 206, they are MOMO covers and they cover a middle/bottom of the mirrors mate. can get a pic if it helps?

Its not the ones i was thinking about then.

Probably bonded on so if you're desperate to get rid then heating them with a hairdryer and prising them off may be the only way!
