Clio 182 FF
I'm looking into wheel stud conversion kits. Top two round here seem to be the Pure Motorsport kit and the K-Tec kit (available in two lengths).
Both kits look pretty similar to me, apart from PMS using an allen key to fit the studs, and K-Tec studs being M12x1.5mm stepping-down to M12x1.25mm whereas PMS stays at M12x1.5mm for the whole thing.
I know some people will have brand loyalty to either (PMS probably ahead of K-Tec in my case, but lets not start a slagging match), is one kit really better than the other?
And then about the length…
PMS kit: 75mm - allowing for upto 12mm spacers.
K-Tec kit: 68mm - no spacers
K-Tec kit: 100mm - allowing for big spacers (but surely if using big spacers you'd be using bolt-to-hub instead of bolt through!?)
If you've the PMS kit, but aren't running spacers, are the studs going to poke through the wheel looking ugly and possibly stop you fitting wheel centre caps if you're running the stock wheels?
