Stupidly squeaky brakes :(

  Megane R26
Well Monday just gone, had a brake upgrade done. Brembo HC's, Mintex fast road pads, braided lines and Dot5 fluid. Now car was Ok first day, but now it sounds like a Bus. No lie. Get the most amazing squeek ever. What can I do. I know performance pads can make more of a noise but this is bluddy stupid. Worth using cooper slip on the back of the pads. Help. I don't want to sound like a Bus anymore! :(

TADTS [They all do that sir!]

I had the same setup on my VX and they squeaked all the time, you normally get squealing brakes with high performance aftermarket brake setups.

I fitted grooved and drilled disks after which eliminates the squealing but I prefered the solid disks.

Get used to it!

PS.... Did you apply loads of copperslip to the rear of the brake surface? if you didnt - this is normally the reason of squealing [you can buy anti squeal pads to apply to the rear of the pads too ;)]

Ahh I see, this is just more than a sqeek!

I got some anti squeal pads by the look of it with the rear pads I didn't use. Wortyh fitting these then. Also what do you mean by the rear of the brake surface? Cheers

Cool, will be doing this sunday! You reckon the pads or copper slip will be better?

Both!

The actual brake surfaces will probably still squeal though [disk onto pad surface].
