Stuttering through the rev range

Car  Clio 182
Just been out in the 182 and it was stuttering through the rev range

My emissions light often flashes in the first couple of minutes of turning the car on but this time it seemed to be flashing faster then stopped then started again.

The car also sounded quite rough, im just about to do an oil change so could be this?

Ive just recently adjusted the brake pedal switch but wouldn't have thought this could be related

My thoughts are lambdas or coil pack?

Any advice would be really appreciated

Cheers for your help mate

Just had a look at the coil pack and the leads are secure into that, should I now remove the plenum to check theyre secure into the spark plugs? and where would be best to get a new plenum gasket? dealers?

TBH you wont need a new plenum gasket, i take mine off all the time and i have never changed it

your coilpack is probs shot

So i changed the HT leads today and the misfires still there, it seems a little better though, feels like its got more power.

Could this be due to build up on the spark plugs? No. 3 was quite black when i looked at it, the others were fine though as they were only changed 10 months ago

So do i go for new plugs or coil pack next?

Cheers for your help, Pete

No, never clean it. In the end it turned out to be a dodgy injector in no.3, changed this and all is good now
