sub on standard HU

hello , wondering if anyone could tel me if its possible to connect a sub upto the original head unit, as i do not want to lose my stalk controls or the 6cd multi changer.

the idea is to amp up all the speaker in the dci but the sub is a question of doubt.


any audio guys on here please shed some light.

Get a decent HU - standard ones are pony. A decent Alpine HU with decent HPF/LPF and you're sorted on the bass front with a sub in the boot. Mp3 CD = 10+ CDs in one.

Get a lead from MT AUDIO, stalk controls sorted.

No point amping the standard speakers. Major effort wiring new ones up for little gain as the above set up will be deafening if you want it to be. Standard speakers perform amazingly well once the low end stuff gets sent elsewhere.

MT Audio is only in Hinkley, He will sort you out, I used him to sort mine out and he's done a couple of my mates cars aswell.

Okay cheers guys. Just thought i'd better sort the audio whilst almost all the interior is out.
