I know Foxy has designed/made up a fifth engine mount that matches the one above..
Also, why would you want to alter it that much? For the cost/work involved, why not just spend £100 on some second hand uprated mounts that do the job fine?
i already have vibratechnic's mounts and a pollybush dogbone, but they still allow a lot of movement because the top mount is so far from the where the force is.
plus i love the look and it makes it much more easier to work on the engine. i can get the mounts for £40, and sell my mounts for around £100 so it will earn me money.
plus i think to looks so cool and much tidier!!
The mount foxy made up was also for the mk1 subframe annoyingly iirc
would it be strong enough to not avoid using the top mount completely??
and would you be able to make another one at a cost?? i dont have any welding/bending facilites
